next theme for swaps.................BUTTONS

ok the theme for the next round of swaps is BUTTONS...so on the embellies and atc cards use buttons somewhere....obviously the theme doesnt apply to the stamped images or shipping tags(these, you just stamp images on card and shipping tags).......ok i will leave sign up open til monday the 6th september......if there are more than 10 in any of the swaps we will go round robin style so you dont have to make too many......and these will need to be received by me by the END of SEPTEMBER(email me the addy is at the top of the screen if you need my address) and please include a 1.20 stamped self addressed envelope so i can post back to you(please note.. please use a large envelope if you are in all 4 swaps) because all the items dont fit in a small envelope....thanks and have fun.....here are the details

EMBELLIES please stick to the theme for these and make them smallish(for postage reasons)

ATC's cards....these are little 2.5 x 3.5 inch cards that you embellish as per the theme....

STAMPED IMAGES.... stamp images on 6x4 inch pieces of card just as many as you can fit(i choose this size cos its easy to post

SHIPPING TAGS.....just stamp an image(large images work best) onto shipping tags(you can make them if you dont have any)

for all the swaps you make 1 for each person in the group.

Final numbers for August swap(kraft)

ok, here are the final numbers for the kraft swap.......a couple of the swaps have gone to round robin style, where you only make 10 and you will get your own plus a random 9 back...due to the large number(more than 10 doing them).....that way we dont have to make a mountain of them...some people think 10 is their limit).....so here are the numbers

Embellies 10 (round robin style)
Atc's 10 (round robin style)
Stamped Images 10
Shipping Tags 11 (i thought with the shipping tags, since we are only stamping on the tags, we will stick with the 11 because they arent time consuming to make)

IMPORTANT INFO

Embellishments.....use Kraft to make these(kraft is a cardboard coloured cardstock, if you dont have it use a similar colour or even cardboard would be ok)...try and keep the size smallish due to postal reasons)

ATCs....again use kraft...these are little cards measuring 2.5 x 3.5 inches(size is very important).....and try and make them double cardstock thickness so they arent too flimsy

Stamped Images.... stamp images on 6x4 inch size of kraft card...try and keep the size of the card that size because you dont know what size envelope the others are sending for return post

Shipping Tags.... stamp an image(larger images work best)on to shipping tags(if you cant get them, you can make them)

for all the swaps you are in, you make 1 per person in the swap...post to me by the END of AUGUST (email me if you are having trouble keeping the deadline)....remember to include a 1.20 stamped self addressed envelope for me to return them to you....
NOTE...if you are in all 4 swaps, please use a large envelope, because that many items dont fit in the smaller envelopes.....

IMPORTANT INFO.....

Oh and one other thing....next month i was thinking of adding a 'shipping tag' swap, where you buy or make shipping tags(they are 5cents from the newsagents or you could make them out of cardstock or manilla folders)......you just stamp and ink them. bigger stamps work better than smaller ones, you would make 1 for everyone in the group and you get 1 of everyones back......let me know your thoughts

ive posted back the 'HEART' atc and embellies........sign up for the 'GARDEN' theme swap closes monday 12th July.....add your name to the list stipulating which swap you would like to do either ATC, EMBELLIES, STAMPED IMAGES OR ALL 3......the atc and embellie theme is GARDEN you can use anything found in the garden from trees, flowers, fences, birds bugs just about anything really.....the stamped images have no theme, you just stamp as many images as you can fit on a 6in x 4in piece of card make sure you do 1 for each in the group (final numbers will be put up on tuesday 13th july).....also remember to include a 1.20 stamped self addressed envelope so i can get them back to you

IMPORTANT NOTICE:.....it has come to my attention that some of us dont want to make a tonne of these swap items, so what i was thinking was........if by chance we get more than 10 members in any swap we will do it round robin style where by you would make 10 items no matter how many joined, but you wouldnt get 1 of everything back, you would get your own plus a random 9 back, that way if 20 sign up you would only have to make 10....how does that sound??
